Reunion at Saxegate in Southminster

September 1998 my cousin Jill Lambert, husband John and niece Tessa and husband John, all had a reunion weekend at Saxegate Guest House, in Southminster; This was formerly the family home of our grandparents, the Sugden family.We were made extremely welcome by the current Proprietor Mrs Battson and her husband, who went to a great deal of work to ensure we had a memorable visit. It was great fun seeing the house and surroundings and we had a reunion dinner with friends of the family who still live in the Southminster area.
